Are you a strategic events professional ready to lead unforgettable, high-impact experiences? Do you thrive under pressure, bring innovation to every project, and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional events from concept to execution? If so, we want to hear from you.
At The King’s Trust, our events play a vital role in supporting young people across the UK. As Senior Special Events Manager, you will take the lead in planning, developing, and delivering some of our most prestigious events—bringing bold ideas, outstanding organisation, and creative flair to everything you do.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end delivery of flagship events, including galas, donor receptions, and strategic partner activations. Your role will involve working closely with internal colleagues, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure every event is aligned with our wider objectives and delivered to the highest standards.
As part of this role, you will also take on direct line management responsibilities, providing day-to-day support, guidance, and development to members of the events team. You’ll foster a collaborative and high-performing environment, helping your team grow their skills while ensuring a consistent, high-quality approach to our event delivery.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need significant experience managing complex or high-profile events, ideally within the charity, arts, or corporate sectors. You’ll bring excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with calm efficiency. Just as importantly, you’ll bring creativity, vision, and a genuine passion for delivering events that make a lasting difference.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on exceptional events that support and celebrate young people. If you’re ready to take your career to the next level in a role with purpose and impact, we’d love to hear from you.
