GENERAL DESCRIPTION Phoenix Air Group provides specialized support for numerous military and governmental programs.  As such, the personnel employed by the Special Missions department are often faced with a broad range of challenges and an ever-changing technical environment. Our group is constantly tasked to provide reliable, innovative solutions to diverse airborne platform applications, from removable single system installations to highly integrated electronics suites. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES •    Performs repairs, modifications, and installations on company aircraft.  •    Able to deploy and operate equipment in company aircraft in support of flight operations and testing. •    Able to perform work on various aircraft such as power distribution, wiring and control systems.  •    Maintain a good working relationship with customers and government representatives.  SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS •    Able to obtain a secret security clearance. •    Required to obtain and maintain a valid US passport. •    Working knowledge of how standard electronics components work in circuit (relays, diodes, resistors, capacitors, IC’s, transistors, switches,  circuit breakers, etc.) •    Aircraft installation experience useful.   •    Deployment will be required internationally and in the US, usually not to exceed 30 days. PHYSICAL DEMANDS •    Talk and/or hear regularly throughout the day. •    Sitting is required up to but not limited to 6 hours during flight operations. •    Sitting can be up to but not limited to 6 hours while performing work on various projects. •    Standing and walking on occasion. •    Climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed. •    Use fingers and hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms to perform work duties as needed. •    Lift and/or move up to 55 pounds frequently and at times in small confined spaces. •    Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus throughout the day.
