Description

To support Special Projects team, Business Development, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Officer in Business Development to drive strategic initiatives and support our organization’s growth. This role will focus on event operation support, procurement or policy support, and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with our corporate objectives. You will be responsible for: Event Operation Support: planning and executing business development events, including workshops, conferences, and networking sessions; collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics and operations; and monitoring and evaluating event effectiveness, providing insights for future improvements. Procurement or Policy Support: assisting in the procurement process for business development initiatives, ensuring compliance with organizational policies; developing and implementing policies that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives; and conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts. Support on New Initiatives and Strategic Planning: receiving guidance from management to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational objectives; analyzing market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making; and preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate strategic initiatives and progress. performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority. You should: possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred; have minimum 5 years of experience in business development, event management, or strategic planning; have proven track record in supporting successful events and managing procurement processes; possess strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information; be passionate in events management, can-do attitude to deliver quality and efficient results; have strong organizational and project management skills; have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments; be able to think strategically and execute tactically; have high level of initiative and ability to work independently; and be adaptable to changing priorities and environments.
