Job Title: - Senior Specialist ADHD Nurse

Location: Wokingham Community Hospital
Pay Rate: Day £ 22.99
Night: £ 29.89
Sun/Bank Holiday : £ 36.79
Shift Pattern: -Monday to Friday, 9-5pm

EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING :-

• Registered professional qualification in Mental Health, Nursing (RMN) or Specialist Community Public Health Nurse or Certified School Nurse or Paediatric Nurse
• Post qualifying Child & Adolescent Mental Health training or qualifications in therapeutic approaches with children, young people and families.
• Pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology and teaching.
• Assessing and mentoring of students
• Preceptorship training

Previous Experience :-

• Ability to manage risk and understanding of child safeguarding procedures.
• Worked with children and young people.
• Effective communication skills, written & verbal
• Good organisational skills, ability to analyse sit

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :-

• Demonstrates knowledge of the issues surrounding child development and the impact it can have on meeting the five Every Child Matters outcomes, the Children’s Act 1989 and The Mental Health Act 2007.
