Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
5+ years experience with Azure cloud services, including VMs, storage solutions, and networking.
Knowledge of Azure best practices, including identity and access management, network security and compliance frameworks.
Extensive experience with Azure infrastructure design, deployment, optimization, and data integration.
Strong knowledge of virtual infrastructure (Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V).
Proven experience with enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto).
Advanced hands-on experience on Cisco switches.
Experience with Azure data analytics tools and platforms (PowerBI, PowerApps, Data Factory, Synapse).
Proficiency with cybersecurity tools (Crowdstrike, Sentinel SIEM, Zabbix, Lansweeper, Nessus).
Deep understanding of Azure services, resource management, networking, and cost control.
Proficient in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Azure CLI, etc.).
Strong grasp of networking and firewall concepts, VPNs, NAT, IPS/IDS, and traffic shaping, subnets, VPN gateways.
Familiarity with network and system monitoring tools and alert management.
Ability to interpret and respond to cybersecurity indicators and events.
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in parallel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel to mine sites occasionally for project rollouts or critical incidents
