Project Overview: Mining and Metals: Increasing production of critical minerals provides key components of clean energy technologies, from wind turbines to batteries. This shift to clean energy—and the need for commodities—is critical to underpinning the energy transition. At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net zero in a way which is more sustainable than ever before. Job Summary: This role, you will participate in subcontract formation and/or administration of medium-to-complex contracts. Subcontract formation includes leading preparation and review of bid request packages and developing project contracts operating procedures. Subcontract administration includes continual progress review, forecasting, and communication of difficulties. The work will ensure subcontract compliance with project requirements. "This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership”.Major Responsibilities: Implementing the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule which records the Project’s agreed assignment of various subcontract management tasks and the Standard Work Process Procedures applicable to Subcontract Management. Managing assigned subcontracts maintaining a continual review of progress and providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties. Coordinating with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance, and other major matters. Managing moderately complex contract changes by negotiating with customer personnel and obtaining settlement Subcontract Formation. Conforming and ensuring subcontract execution. Directing negotiation in the commitment of subcontracts. Developing and issueing subcontracts and services agreements as assigned. Preparing bidders’ lists and pre-qualifies bidders. Forming bid request packages and issues bid request packages to approved bidders. Coordinating bidders’ questions and answers to those questions. Receiving bids and evaluates bids commercially. Preparing Commercial Bid Summary and recommendations. Recommends and secures approvals in accordance with established procedures. Prepares subcontract documents for execution. Prepares and organizes assigned meetings, such as pre-bid, bid clarification and pre-award meetings, for the purpose of ensuring complete understanding and agreement between Bechtel, the customer and contractor on all contractual matters. After reviewing plan and agenda with supervisor, conducts meeting and prepares and issues meeting notes delineating important statements, required actions and schedules. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experienceRequired Knowledge and Skills: Advance English Contract experience in contract Administration medium to complex contracts ideally EPCM or at least engineering ones in mining industry. Demonstrates strong analytical skills and the ability to provide clear, relevant, and well-structured explanations. Responsibilities

Lead the formation and administration of medium-to-complex subcontracts, including bid package preparation and commercial evaluations. Manage subcontract compliance, progress reviews, and negotiate contract changes to ensure project requirements are met.
