Join us in shaping what’s next in beauty. Summary of Position: The Sr Specialist, Global Brand will collaborate and support the development process from ideation to launch. This includes product pipeline management, identifying market opportunities and trends, global positioning and launch strategy. Principle Accountabilities: Ownership and support for category sales and profitability metrics for assigned category of business from ideation to launch. Support in the pipeline and product development projects by sizing global sales volume potential, understanding shade/sku count needs, and identifying features and benefits required to compete and differentiate the brand in market. Support analysis and development of subcategory and product opportunities to support brand growth plans by completing and summarizing competitive landscape, internal learnings, and data/trend resources to form researched and relevant recommendations Develop and maintain brand team deliverables such as development briefs, campaign and marketing briefs, assortment decks, forecasting inputs, and various product overview resources. Day-to-day management of owned products from concept to counter, in collaboration with various cross-functional partners depending on place in timeline. Write and present clear, compelling briefs for packaging, componentry, and copy that translates product benefits into consumer language. Conduct post-launch reports including sales performance analysis, retailer feedback, and consumer sentiment, synthesizing findings and communicating to leadership to help inform future planning. Act as the internal product expert, bringing category and positioning insights into cross-functional discussions and strategy. Assist in developing new product launch packages in collaboration with Product Development, Copy, Sourcing, Packaging, Wholesale Channels, and Creative teams that will deliver final product positioning, pricing (all currencies), features and benefits, shade ranges, and global launch assets. Partner with the Global Brand Manager to develop product positioning and messaging informed by research, insights and product understanding. Partner the Global Brand Manager in identifying opportunities to improve existing products and features. Coordinate with the rest of the Global Brand team on delivering brand initiatives and vision with regards to product launches and holistic assortment. Adhoc analysis and projects based on evolving business needs to include, but not limited to: photoshoot logistics, artistry inputs, financial analysis, marketing planning, event planning, and brand research. Support marketing mailer + swag item initiatives through creative brainstorming, vendor briefing, and project management support as needed. Key Working Relationships: · Product Development · Packaging · Creative · Copy · Sourcing · Planning · Wholesale · Marketing · Education · Digital/Ecomm Requirements Required Skills & Experience: · 4+ years of relevant experience, with beauty industry experience strongly preferred and CPG experience required · Demonstrated expertise one or more of these specific functions: product/brand marketing, sales analysis/forecasting, product development, and product management (pricing, merchandising, etc.) · Strong proficiency and confidence in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint · Proficiency and confident in using and summarizing syndicated data (Yipit, Circana, DAASH, etc.) · Proficiency and confidence in AI tools in a business setting · Ability to confidently present ideas and strategy to large groups of people as well as leadership · Ability to manage and own projects end-to-end, from ideation to daily management to final execution · Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct reporting authority · Balances data-driven thinking with a creative, collaborative spirit · A flexible, problem-solving attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment · Interest in and passion for beauty is a plus Travel Requirements: Travel will be as needed for meetings and events. We have an office in San Francisco that we travel to for meetings a few times a year. Employee would be expected to be available (given advanced notice) and able to spend multiple days out of town for business.
