We are invites applications for the position of Senior Specialist Hand Surgeon at a respected Government Healthcare Facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to serve the community by providing expert surgical care in hand and upper extremity conditions within the public healthcare sector. The Senior Specialist Hand Surgeon will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services, managing complex surgical cases, and contributing to the advancement of healthcare initiatives at the government facility. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and active participation in training programs are key aspects of this role. Responsibilities: Provide expert diagnosis and surgical treatment of hand and upper extremity disorders in a government healthcare setting. Perform complex surgeries including trauma management, reconstructive procedures, and microsurgical interventions. Lead and mentor junior medical staff and contribute to their professional development. Collaborate with public health teams to support community health programs and outreach. Ensure compliance with government healthcare policies and regulations. Participate in clinical research and continuous medical education initiatives relevant to hand surgery. Medical degree with appropriate licensing for practicing as a Senior Specialist Hand Surgeon in a government facility. Completed residency in Orthopedic or Plastic Surgery, along with a fellowship in Hand Surgery. Proven extensive experience in complex hand surgical procedures. Strong understanding of government healthcare systems and regulatory frameworks. Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior staff effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to work under the unique demands and constraints of the public healthcare environment. Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge and participating in public health initiatives.
