JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Specialist plays a critical role on Hospitality Marketing in supporting business optimization and go-to-market execution for Vail Resorts’ North American lodging portfolio. This position is collaborative, requiring strong communication skills, relationship-building capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who can effectively prioritize workflows, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results on time. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt quickly are essential for success in this role.

Job Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience required. Emphasis in marketing, business, and/or communications preferred.
  • 1–3 years of marketing work experience preferred; hospitality/travel industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with JIRA and/or SmartSheet is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics is a plus.
  • Excellent English language and writing skills.
  • Copywriting and/or photography experience is preferred but not required.
  • High degree of organization, attention to detail, and professional conduct.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Works independently, takes initiative, and has the desire to achieve.
  • Able to be agile in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage a detailed project tracker to effectively project manage multiple tracks of work, prioritizing business-critical projects
  • Support execution of marketing programs, campaigns, and initiatives across the team including website management, promotional content development, lodging offer management, and more
  • Provide strategic input and best practice guidance to the team on optimizing project management and process consistency across team functions
  • Collaborate and build cross-functional partnerships
  • Execute creative development needs including copywriting, flyers, etc. as needed
  • Assist photo and video capture and asset management/ingestion
  • Support budget needs across Hospitality Marketing as needed
  • Partner closely with Hospitality Marketing managers to identify executional needs across team functions
  • Other duties as assigned

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $56,485.00 - $70,000.00. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
