Description
What you will be doing: • Liaise with fund managers and service providers with regards to fund operations • Ensure full compliance with local regulations (MAS/CPF guidelines) and internal policies/SOPs • Support company’s objectives from an investment operation’s perspective, including new fund launches, product launches, system enhancements and regional project initiatives • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of trades and all investment back-office related processes • Review of fund valuation reports and fund prices • Ensure zero pricing error for investment-linked funds • Maintaining up to date GL, bank and unit reconciliations, aging with timely clearance of unidentified items/discrepancies • Adhere to and maintain up to date documentation on all operational processes • Participate in the implementation of new funds and product launches • Participate in ad-hoc projects • Assist in opening and closing cash accounts and update SSI • Analyse the downstream impact of projects that will be implemented and initiate ways to streamline processes. • Maintain updated bank confirmations counterparties list • Ensure adhere to MAS307 regulation • KYC documentation What we are looking for: • Degree in Business (Banking and Finance), Accountancy or equivalent • 2-3 years’ experience in Investment Operations or Fund Accounting (experience in Insurance related field will be an added advantage) • Committed, meticulous, proactive and self-motivated • Understand the full cycle of trades processes • Strong problem solving skills • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent team player • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel • Knowledge of account software e.g. SAP and Peoplesoft
