At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Senior Specialist Manufacturing PMO based in our City of Industry, California beverage manufacturing plant!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to join our team and drive the transformation of our manufacturing environment towards Industry 5.0. You will be part of the core team on bringing next practices for the industry from AI Digital twins to genAI companions for manufacturing.
Reporting into the site Operations Director, this role will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of digital twin technology and allied program within our manufacturing operations and requires a deep understanding of digital twin concepts, data analytics, and manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency from predictive, prescriptive to close looping of actions for overall production performance. Also, portfolio management programs with tracking to identifying, prioritizing, and driving initiatives /project timelines and key metrics, along with business case, financial reporting and co-leading with on-site team members will be key. The ideal candidate will be proficient in food and beverage manufacturing processes, operational excellence powered by digital programs and nurturing change management processes. This role will specifically focus on managing Industry 4.0 and Factory of the Future (Industry 5.0) projects, working closely with the site area teams, engineering, Operations Technology (OT) and AI teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree (required) in project management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have 5+ years’ experience in project management, leading large end-to-end transformation programs to successful project delivery.
  • You have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operational excellence with digital technologies including digital twins, data analytics, project management principles and methodologies.
  • You have experience with business casing, financial reporting, and budget management.
  • You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You can work independently and as part of a team.
  • You have proficiency in change management processes (yellow stream).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
