Job Description: Microchip Technology is seeking a Senior Marketing Strategist to join our fast-paced MarCom team in Chandler, AZ. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to create and manage promotional advertising campaigns for our internal business units. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated and have a working knowledge of current marketing strategies and tools. Requirements/Qualifications: Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with assigned business units, helping them define and realize their advertising and promotion goals Launch and manage the flow of multiple campaigns from conception to completion, working in cooperation with a variety of marketing teams including graphics, web, video, social media and email Write engaging, grammatically sound and technically accurate content in support of marketing campaigns including ad copy, social media posts and email messages Assist in submission of ad materials to publishers and other media partners Gather and review metrics reports from the analytics team to share with the business units and to continually improve promotional strategies Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience Seven to 10 years of experience in marketing or a closely related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Knowledge of branding, positioning, and value proposition development. Understanding of email marketing, content marketing and social media strategies. Highly organized and detail-oriented Hard-working team player, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate Willingness to work with a global team spread across multiple time zones Desired Qualifications Experience with account-based marketing Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud Understanding of SEO and PPC marketing Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) and analytics platforms (e.g., AEM Analytics).
