Job Overview This role is conducted within the vision, mission, and strategic plan of the Insurance Authority. The Senior Specialist of Supervisory Excellence safeguards the integrity and continuous evolution of the Authority’s Supervisory Excellence Framework, embedding rigorous governance, capability-building, and data-driven insights across frontline operations. Reporting to the Director of Supervisory Excellence, the role orchestrates end-to-end process administration, vendor and stakeholder coordination, and ISO-aligned compliance monitoring to ensure supervisors consistently demonstrate mandated coaching and oversight standards. By synthesising analytics into actionable interventions and driving iterative improvements, the position elevates supervisory performance, mitigates operational risk, and strengthens organisational accountability. Collectively, these contributions underpin service excellence and reinforce the Authority’s strategic and regulatory commitments. Responsibilities and Tasks * Manage the day-to-day administration of the Supervisory Excellence Framework, ensuring all supervisory assessments, certifications, and renewal cycles are executed on time and in accordance with policy. * Coordinate periodic process reviews with Internal Audit and regulatory-affairs peers, documenting evidence, tracking corrective actions, and escalating unresolved non-conformities to the Director of Supervisory Excellence. * Maintain up-to-date process documentation, standard operating procedures, and workflow maps in the central quality-management repository to uphold ISO-aligned governance requirements. * Liaise with accredited vendors and People & Culture partners to schedule, resource, and deliver supervisory skills programmes, ensuring participant rosters, pre-work, and post-course evaluations are accurately managed. * Facilitate virtual or classroom micro-sessions on framework tools, reinforcing correct application of observation checklists, coaching templates, and performance feedback techniques. * Provide on-the-job guidance to Supervisory Excellence Specialists, transferring knowledge of advanced methods and reinforcing adherence to instructional design standards. * Compile and validate monthly dashboards that track certification status, training utilisation, and compliance findings, ensuring data lineage and metric definitions meet Enterprise Analytics Office standards. * Analyse trend data to identify systemic supervisory gaps, preparing insight briefs and recommending targeted interventions for review by the Director and senior experts. * Serve as primary point of contact for departmental peers during roll-out of new supervisory tools, coordinating communications, FAQs, and issue-resolution logs. * Collaborate with Digital Solutions to test and release minor system enhancements, confirming user stories, acceptance criteria, and post-deployment support plans. * Lead after-action reviews following each certification cycle, capturing lessons learned and integrating improvements into subsequent iterations of the framework. * Curate and update the Supervisory Excellence knowledge portal, ensuring reference materials, case studies, and policy updates remain current and easily searchable by supervisors enterprise-wide. * Perform other job duties as assigned.   The Insurance Authority (IA), the insurance regulator of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was established by royal decree No. 85 dated 28/01/1445 H.
