Senior Specialist - Product Management
Background:
Mastercard is a global leader in Open Banking products and services. This role is part a of our European Open Banking Payments Product team and focused on delivering a high quality platform product for one of our Product Lines, Aiia Pay.
Our division executes our strategy to build the future of financial services with a focus on convenience, automation, and personalization. The division has full responsibility for building high-quality payment and data products for each of our customer segments within Open Banking. The ideal candidate is passionate about both understanding the customer and the business, while working with technology teams to deliver outstanding solutions.
Responsibilities
Assist the European Open Banking payment product team in driving new development from conception to implementation
Help raise the maturity and quality level of the core product and surrounding product items such as documentation, marketing materials, communications on releases etc.
Close collaboration with other product teams, engineers, sales, commercial, legal and compliance to support in launching products
Understand and drive business requirements with ability to articulate and challenge to meet client needs
Manage product documentation ensuring features and associated documentation are clear and easily consumable by the respective target audiences
Assess commercial, technical and operational viability to determine optimal payment propositions mapped to client requirements.
All About You
Background and/or strong interest in Open Banking
Experience in product management and understanding of new product development concepts and practices
An innovative approach and ability to create new thinking
Analytical mindset and a track record in delivering comprehensive research & analysis
Ability to draw conclusion and develop actionable insights from quantitative and qualitative data
Capable of working under changing circumstances and confident in dealing with ambiguity
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and work independently
A clear communicator that can simplify complex concepts and is confident interacting with clients and presenting to stakeholders
A collaborative team player with a global mindset and strong cultural awareness
Experience with agile methodologies
Excellent English skills verbally as in writing
Bonus skills
Understanding of the Financial Services Industry, payment infrastructure and the payment ecosystem are a bonus, but not essential
Location
Location can be Dublin, London or Copenhagen
