The Role:
Entegris is seeking a talented Senior Specialist who will complete the preparation of SEC filings, SEC compliance and US GAAP reporting activities, as well as participate in annual audit and quarterly reviews. This key technical role is responsible for completion of assigned accounting tasks, preparation of accounting position memos, and adherence to applicable SOX requirements. This role is based in Chaska, MN.

What You’ll Do:

  • Participate in the preparation of the Company’s consolidated financial statements, footnotes and related items to be included in the Company’s 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings.
  • Complete specific accruals, account reconciliations and other general accounting tasks.
  • Assist in managing the annual audit and quarterly review activities, including preparation or review of all required financial statements and disclosures.
  • Prepare or review various quarterly and annual reports, and internal and external presentations in coordination with Investor Relations.
  • Assist in the writing of US GAAP positions memos and other SEC/SOX related documentation.
  • Complete XBRL tagging of financial statements and footnotes associated with SEC filings.
  • Participate as needed in documentation and testing associated with SOX compliance activities.
  • Research and monitor global compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting requirements.
  • Review, comprehend, and communicate recently issued accounting standards to ensure appropriate adoption by the Company.
  • Serve as a technical accounting resource to domestic and international entities to ensure compliance with SEC and US GAAP reporting requirements.
  • Maintain a highly effective and professional level of communication with other departments (Investor Relations, Legal, etc.) and all levels of management to ensure communication of the most timely and accurate information.
  • Participate in special projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, legal and tax organizational activities, etc.
  • Demonstrate willingness to complete additional miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support the overall organization.

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or highly related field)
  • 3-4 years professional experience with background in Big 4 public accounting and/or prior SEC reporting experience
  • CPA license/certification
  • Expert knowledge of accounting principles, research and analysis, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Technical SEC/public accounting/SOX/ US GAAP experience preferred
  • SEC/XBRL-related filing systems experience preferred (i.e., Workiva)
