JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Specialist, Supplier Strategy & Integration is responsible for supporting the research, analysis and implementation of new supplier relationships as well as supporting the development of tools, processes and reporting related to Supplier Relationship Management.
In addition to being an excellent communicator, the incumbent has strong analytical skills in analyzing contract pricing, service levels and in depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract agreements and legal terminology and is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Support the onboarding of new suppliers and services from initial engagement and proof of concept to full launch as well as supplier analysis and rationalization and communicate status on an ongoing basis.
  • Conduct research on industry/supplier benchmarks, collect market intel and provide competitive analysis to support decision-making.
  • Participate in departmental, intra divisional and companywide projects including new outsourcing initiatives, supplier integrations as well as implementation of internal technologies, tools, processes and practices.
  • Support the SRM program for Canada, ensuring systems and processes are in place for managing supplier risk, performance, issues and data.
  • Influence organizational change through communication and persuasiveness, engaging the appropriate stakeholders to validate solutions.
  • Capture the Voice of the Supplier and Business Partners in surveys and discussions and integrate feedback into recommendations.
  • Document and continuously improve procedures and policies, reporting tools, presentations and templates. Coordinate business process improvements with internal stakeholders.
  • Be familiar with contract terms, payment structure and reimbursements.
  • Coordinate and summarize competitive analysis, spend analysis, KPI’s and operating reports.
  • Consult on issues impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of supplier relationship management and cross-functional processes.
  • Ensure standard practices are being followed and collaborate on supplier relationship management best practices.
