We are looking for a Senior Entity Specification Engineer to join our team working for L1 specifications at Architecture and Specification organization within Mobile Networks at Nokia.

You’d be working with experienced and motivated team developing L1 specifications for 5G Classical and Cloud deployments both for baseband and radio. This will give you great opportunity to learn new skills fast while fully utilizing your existing skills.

As part of our team, you will:

• Create L1 Specifications for Baseband, RF and massive MIMO processing targeted both classic and cloud BTS deployments as part of L1 specification team as senior entity specification engineer
• Take part in partitioning and dimensioning of L1 physical layer processing, including collecting requirements, use cases, defining interfaces, analyzing options for hardware/software split
• Take ownership or contribute to the Feasibility Studies, System and Entity level specification tasks, as an author or co-author
• Support investigation and troubleshooting of the problems during feature integration

Based on your studies in university, polytechnic or an equivalent institution, you already have good understanding on wireless telecommunication and signal processing. You are eager to learn more and interested in working on a variety of different tasks as part of your job. You are ready to share your knowledge and skills among the people you work with - you are a team worker but also efficient at independent tasks.

We expect you have most of the below requirements:

• Master of Science in signal processing, telecommunication, computer science or equivalent area
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product SW development, system engineering, system test or specification engineering
• Good knowledge of LTE/5G L1 physical layer and advanced receiver algorithms
• Experience on system specification work and requirement management tools
• Good understanding of the System on Chip (ASIC/FPGA/DSP) or related low-level SW/system design flow and process
• Experiences on SW programming in Matlab/C/C++ or modeling work for wireless communications systems is a benefit
• Pro-activity and independent problem solving through own experience and network
• Good interpersonal skills and capability to work in international multi-site environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English
