Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and treat medically complex pediatric outpatients from birth to 21 years of age with feeding and swallowing disorders. Provide inpatient care to critically ill newborns in our Level IV neonatal intensive care unit, and patients in our pediatric intensive care and acute care pediatric floors. You will work collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary care team and provide education/support to parents/caregivers. This is a Full-Time position working Tuesday -Saturday at Morgan Stanley Children Hospital (3959 Broadway, New York, NY 10032). You are also required to work 2 Holidays per year. Preferred Criteria Experience working with craniofacial anomalies, aerodigestive disorders, and complicated cardiac diagnoses. Experience working with Trach/Vent patients. Required Criteria Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Certification by the American Speech and Hearing Association. New York State licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 3 + years of clinical work experience with pediatric patients in hospital-setting. Competency in dysphagia evaluation/treatment with medically complex pediatrics. Competency in pediatric Modified Barium Swallow Study and/or Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing. Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
