Description

Ensure good quality standards for product delivery and their compliance with user requirements. Evaluate and test software applications according to business and functional requirements. Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality. Work very closely with the development team to ensure all kinds of defects are taken care of. Document test results, create/update requirements and test plan documentation as needed. Ensure testing is on schedule and in-line with the processes. Assist Lead and development team during UAT in demos, non-produceable defects and release notes. Visit client’s site for defects understanding and clarification. Communicating with team members to streamline the execution of test cases, test plans and processes with them. Good database testing concepts. To design and develop test suites for software functional and performance testing. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 3 to 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance including experience of leading a SQA team. Experience and proficiency in manual/ automated testing, approaches/techniques, and concepts. Hands-on testing experience of REST & SOAP APIs (POSTMAN, SOAPUI). Knowledge of agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and professional skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members. Experience with automation testing, automation test scripts, framework design, and implementation (Selenium, TestNG) is a plus.
