Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Driven by a commitment to quality and thoroughness
  • Developed and maintained mobile automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Espresso or similar.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably within a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Have knowledge on the compliance with App Store & Google Play submission requirements and validate production releases
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrate commitment to quality and thoroughness

Skill sets:

  • Minimum bachelors or MS degree
  • Automation and proficiency with tools like selenium, appium, playwright
  • Mentor junior team members and work with overseas teams
  • Time management and adapt in changing new technologies
  • Medical experience is bonu
Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements and design test plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and existing functionalities.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web, mobile, and/or API applications, familiar with and automated test cases.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate app functionality, UI/UX, performance, and compatibility across devices and OS versions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Stay current with mobile OS updates, devices, and emerging QA tools/practices
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed quality reports to stakeholders, including test coverage, defect metrics, and release readiness
  • Contribute to the documentation supporting all phases of the medical device development lifecycle
