JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior SRE AWS (14052), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
• Professional/ Advanced English skills.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud operations.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional level).
• Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS for containerization.
• Expertise in scripting (Python, Bash) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with multi-cloud setups (Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of secrets management tools like HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
• Familiarity with data pipelines (e.g. Airbyte, Prefect, etc).
• AWS cost optimization skills using tools like Trusted Advisor or Compute Optimizer.
• Agile and DevSecOps experience.
• Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

• Design, implement, and optimize AWS environments for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Automate infrastructure management using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments with scripting (Python, Bash) and tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
• Develop monitoring solutions with AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, and lead incident response efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliability and mentor team members on DevOps practices.
