Description Senior Staff Accountant About Us: Premier Private Jets is a distinguished provider of comprehensive business aviation services, including Charter, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) [PremierMRO], and Fixed Base Operations (FBO) [PremierFBO]. The Senior Staff Accountant will handle high-level accounting and oversee financial activities of the company. This position will assist with development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial reporting and planning. Responsibilities: · Manage all aspects of accounting, billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, revenue recognition, and various special projects and analyses. · Oversee the processing of semi-monthly Payroll. Knowledge of Paylocity a plus · Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and operations · Oversee all payments made for debts, loans, and other large transactions · Monitor cash and funding balances · Keep an organized system of all accounts, statements, transactions, payments, and debts · Prepare monthly financial reports · Manage the annual budgets and forecasts · Define, benchmark, and implement operational best practices · Complying with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting including coordination with outside CPA firms and outside professionals Benefits: • Medical, dental, vison, and life Insurance • Supplemental life insurance • Short-term and long-term disability • 401k with Company Match • PTO and company paid sick days • Company paid holidays Requirements Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in accounting · Ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience · Excellent computer skills; experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite · Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations · Able to work well with senior management as well as manage, mentor and lead accounting staff
