Description:
As a Senior Staff Accountant you will provide full cycle accounting, tax filing services, sales tax reporting where necessary, and supporting schedules.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· CPA designation possessing a minimum of 4+ years’ experience in full accounting cycle.
· Public accounting experience including the preparation of Canadian personal/corporate tax returns and the compilation of Financial Statements.
DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

Responsibilities:
· Compilation Report file preparation, Financial Statements, and note disclosures for investment holding companies, small Canadian operating consulting companies, trusts and charitable foundations
· Preparation of T1 personal tax, T2 corporation tax, T3 intervivos trust and estate tax returns and T5 summaries & supplementary forms
· Calculation of Capital Dividend Account (CDA) balances, General Rate Income Pool (GRIP) Balances and Eligible and Non-eligible Refundable Dividend Tax on Hand (RDTOH) balances
· Preparation of T3010 Charity Returns and GST/HST returns
· Preparation of T1135 foreign income verification disclosures
· Preparation of standard corporation minutes and resolutions
· Preparation and filing of T4 summary and supplementary forms including payroll calculations, records of employment and remittance of at source deductions
· Calculation of tax estimates and annual tax instalments and coordination of remittances to respective governments
· Review of Notices of Assessment and response to government Requests for Information (RFI)
· Communication with clients and third parties respect to preparing or gathering information and concerning remittances, instalments, progress of files, inquiries
