Currently looking for a staff Accountant for a mid-sized boutique firm located in Old Strathcona.
The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for being the senior on audit files, working on more complex files and must have the technical ability to do so. You must have the ability to work well with all members of the team, while building relationships with clients. We are looking for a professional, astute individual who is hardworking and able to assist others with their file work.

• Conducting compilations, review engagements and audits
• Preparing a variety of personal & corporate tax returns
• Assisting new and junior staff on their file work
• Being the senior to staff on audits and reviews
• Liaising with Managers and Partners on files
• Identifying accounting and audit issues and recommending solutions
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients
• Keeping the Managers and Partners informed of your file progression
• Attending and sometimes running planning meetings, lunch & learns and other meetings as required
• Other tasks as they arise
