Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Technical Lead for Low-Level Device Driver Development for Automotive Microcontroller based on multi-process architecture Take technical decisions and set direction, Ability to solve and prevent problems, Implement ideas and create business value Development, Verification and Validation of low-level device drivers for Infineon’s automotive microcontrollers (SPI, I2C, CAN, ADC, Flash, EEPROM, Timers, PWM etc.) with adherence to processes laid down for the projects ( AUTOSAR and ISO26262) Development of Automotive Reference Application using the Low Level Device Drivers as per the customer requirements Conceive and develop verification and validation infrastructure for topics in own responsibility. Debug and fix all issues from internal and external stakeholders Development of tools to improve productivity and efficiency [example: development of automation frameworks and scripts]. Generate new methods and techniques for improved and efficient work models Meet or exceed stakeholder expectations with respect to assigned goals for device driver development, verification, validation and methodology improvements Participate in Requirement Analysis, Estimation, WBS preparation, Defect Analysis, etc Usage of the emulator and RTL-based test environment for testing and debugging Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Experience level - 8 to 12 years Expertise in bare-metal/low-level driver development Expertise in embedded system software development in C, assembly languages & SDLC Good knowledge of computer architecture (16/32bit), microcontrollers and real-time systems. Experience with AI tools in software development to perform complex prompt engineering, manage data preparation, and critically evaluate AI outputs for accuracy to solve domain-specific problems. Acquaintance with development tool-chains such as GNU, Tasking, Windriver, Greenhills, Keil, RVCT etc. Acquaintance with standard lab equipment - oscilloscopes, logic analysers, debuggers etc. Working knowledge of build environment (mak files, linker files etc.) Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, Python Contact: Pooja.AnandaChowta@infineon.com #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
