ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generac Clean Energy Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to work on all stages of Manufacturing Engineering development for Power Electronics products, including DFM, Process Development, Equipment / Line Design, and Manufacturing Launch. You will be working cross functionally with product design engineering, supply chain, test engineering, product management, and contract manufacturers across North America. You will use your background in design for manufacturing to focus on content reduction and assembly simplification, qualification of robust processes, and development/handoff of industry-leading assembly equipment. The ideal candidate already has a solid understanding of PCBA assembly techniques, direct experience with high-precision dispense, joining, and sealing operations, and a knack for manufacturing line qualification/launch. You will create novel manufacturing processes for assembling parts and products across the Generac Energy product portfolio.
You will be based out of Reno, NV but you will need to travel to other engineering sites as needed: Boston, Maine, or California. The role may also require occasional travel to CM facilities in North America or equipment buyoff at international automation integrators.
