DESCRIPTION

  • We are seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead a complex, enterprise-wide software migration initiative. This high-visibility role will be responsible for overseeing scope, timelines, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and successful execution across multiple departments and business units. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership and a proven track record managing large-scale technology projects in enterprise environmentsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale software migration in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, business units, security, compliance, and third-party vendors.
  • Define and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and resource plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation using tools such as Confluence, Smartsheet, and Jira.
  • Monitor progress and performance through dashboards, KPIs, and regular executive status reporting.
  • Identify, track, and resolve project risks and issues, escalating when appropriate.
  • Facilitate Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on team and organizational needs.
  • Ensure strong collaboration and clear communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Champion change management, user adoption, training, and communication strategies throughout the migration.
  • Lead data migration efforts and work closely with engineering and data teams to ensure accuracy and continuity.
  • Manage application decommissioning, including data archiving, access control, compliance, and shutdown procedures.
  • Oversee legacy system sunsetting and facilitate smooth transitions to new platforms with minimal disruption.
  • Support vendor management during licensing transitions, onboarding, and contractual adjustments.
  • Ensure all efforts meet enterprise security, data governance, and compliance standards.
    Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–6 years of project management experience, including leadership of large-scale software migrations or enterprise technology transformations.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and other modern project management tools.
  • Strong dashboarding, reporting, and executive communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), change management, and IT governance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, education) is a plus.
