We are looking for a talented Senior Staff Software Development Engineer, a high-energy team player, to be part of a team developing AI security products. This is a green field opportunity to define and build a new class of market defining products. As a member of a growing team you share the responsibility for ensuring that the Zscaler service is reliable, scales efficiently and offers a delightful experience to our customers. Reporting to the VP, Software Engineering, You'll be responsible for: Having hands-on experience in OOP programming using enterprise Java, Python, or Go Possessing hands-on experience with design and development of highly scalable cloud-based REST applications Demonstrating strong experience dealing with OAuth/SAML frameworks and database systems Gaining experience with cloud platforms based on Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP Being detail-oriented and highly organized, juggling multiple priorities and driving them to successful completion What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Minimum 10 plus years of software development experience with designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions Advanced coding skills in Java, REST APIs and related frameworks Hands on experience with systems like RDBMS, REDIS, Elastic Search , Kafka/ RabbitMQ Familiar with Distributed systems and able to to design solutions which work in scalable fashion BS/MS degree (Engineering/Computer Science) What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience with designing and implementing enterprise-grade Security or Networking products Ability to write code that can perform efficiently in a big data setup, which will scale to handle large volumes of data efficiently, considering the potential growth of data over time #LI-hybrid #LI-KM8 At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
