Senior Staff Specialist Procurement Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Company wide procurement of Spare parts, Consumables and Maintenance Services for semiconductor production equipment for all our Frontend-production sites Asia, Europe and USA. In detail the following areas of activity are contained in thisposition: • Strategic supplier selection and - improvement • Negotiation lead for key procurement activities / Cost down initiatives in close cooperation with technical experts and individual site Procurement representatives • Negotiation of procurement contracts / volume agreements / logistics contracts with key suppliers • Procurement market analysis and best practice sharing among our manufacturing facilities • Functional cooperation with the respective buyers at the production sites • Key member in cross functional teams for cost reduction/productim provement programs • Activity and result reporting • Usage of state-of-the art negotiation processes and procurement tools (e-auctions, TCO, game theory … ) Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed University / University of applied sciences / University of cooperative education: Bachelor / Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Industrial Engineering required Education as industrial technologist desired Work experience min. 10 years in a High-Tech capital intensive environment Preferable with working experience in wafer foundry, front end equipment industry or semiconductor industry Proactive, positive approach with willingness to communicate and bringing people together Readiness to travel (max. 2-3 overseas trip p.a.)
