As a Principal Engineer you would work on Communication stack development and validation for Infineon’s Automotive chipsets Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Participate and contribute to requirements elicitation and definition phase of the project Contribute to product architecture Conceptualize and institutionalize develop/validation strategies and engineering practices Play an influential role in technical discussions Evaluate change requests to products, conduct analysis and derive impact for planning by team Conduct reviews of various artefacts [Requirements, Architecture, Design…] and recommend necessary actions Be a signoff stakeholder in all phases of the project Propose and evangelize initiatives Own overall product quality Mentor and train fellow colleagues Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Minimum 12+ years of experience in Embedded system software development for Automotive communication stack. Good knowledge of Microcontroller Architecture, real-time systems. Good knowledge and experience on TSN, TCP/IP, Routing, Communication Security. Hands on experience in developing SW stacks for communication protocols like ETH, CAN, LIN involving all the layers from Interface layer, Transport protocol, PDU Router, State manager, Network manager till Communication manager. Hands on experience in developing communication stack SW development like ETH / CAN / LIN Stack involving all the layers from Interface layer, Transport protocol, PDU Router, State manager, network manager till Communication Manager. Understanding and development of Ethernet switches involving PHY-MAC connectivity interfaces such as GMII/SGMII/RGMII/XAUI. Experience in network testing is desirable. Experience in standards such as AUTOSAR, IEC61508, ISO26262 is desirable Acquaintance with development tool-chains like compilers, debuggers and communication protocol analyzers. Active membership of Open source communities/technical forums is desirable Good team player in a multi-site work environment Experience in supplier management including integration of 3rd party SW components and qualification of whole SW stack Ability to take ownership and work independently for new topics and later define guidelines for team to follow.
