Senior Staff Systems Engineer/Chief Engineer
Location: Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton
As a Senior Staff Systems Engineer/Chief Engineer, you will oversee the development of next-generation commercial aircraft solutions. You will provide engineering leadership, project oversight, and process ownership to ensure execution milestones are met across your projects.
You will also play a pivotal role in growing our Model-Based Engineering (MBE) capability and process, both organically and by collaborating with other MBE leaders across Moog’s Enterprise. This includes working closely with the wider Moog team to embed MBE practices into our engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead system architecture, design, requirements definition, simulation, modelling, and certification testing.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to systems engineers.
  • Drive the adoption and integration of Model-Based Engineering across the business unit.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with program goals and technical standards.

Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience in flight controls within aerospace or a similarly complex domain.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Proven track record in Model-Based Engineering and systems lifecycle management.
  • Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
