A team has been established to deliver an enhanced Whole-of-Government cleaning contract for alignment and delivery of all program streams. Including Governance, ITD, Recruitment and Risk Management.         About the role   The Senior Stakeholder Liaison role is an opportunity to influence how cleaning services are delivered across NSW by shaping strong, trusted relationships with the people and organisations that rely on them.   You will lead targeted engagement activities, coordinate the end‑to‑end management of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and provide clear, informed advice that supports compliance, risk management, and operational continuity across a statewide program. Your work will directly contribute to service excellence, program alignment, and the smooth delivery of cleaning services across schools and government sites.   At the Department of Education, you’ll also benefit from strong career pathways, professional development opportunities, and flexible working practices that support balance, growth, and long‑term success.   For further information please view the role description   What We’re Looking For   You are an experienced communicator who builds productive relationships with ease, navigates complex stakeholder environments with confidence, and brings sound judgement to resolving issues and managing risks. You understand how to work with MOUs or contractual obligations, can balance proactive engagement with urgent operational needs, and translate stakeholder insights into practical actions that support compliance and service quality across NSW. Legal experience in previous roles would be highly regarded and is strongly encouraged, particularly where it has supported contract interpretation, governance, or risk management. The ideal candidate will have:   Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build collaborative, solution‑focused relationships across government, service providers, and internal teams. Experience coordinating or managing MOUs, agreements, or contractual obligations, including tracking milestones and ensuring compliance. Excellent communication and facilitation skills to support effective workshops, forums, and meetings. Strong analytical and organisational capability, with the ability to interpret feedback, identify risks, and provide clear, actionable advice. A commitment to professionalism, service excellence, and continuous improvement across a statewide operational program. Key Knowledge and Experience   Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, service delivery coordination or issues management within a government or operational setting. Experience coordinating or supporting the management of MOUs, contracts, or formal agreements, including tracking obligations, reporting, and compliance activities. Understanding of governance, risk management and assurance processes within a public sector environment.
