JOB SUMMARY

Our Senior Statistical Analysts are essential contributors to our team. They work across a range of projects and support specific deliverables.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A master’s degree (MSc, MMATH or equivalent) in a statistical or mathematical subject.
  • Advanced programming skills in R is required.
  • Experience with building packages, version control, RMarkdown, Shiny, and STAN
  • Knowledge of health economic modeling is preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity and independence, to include the ability to self-start and self-teach
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) along with the ability to question the status quo
  • Ability to communicate complex statistical methods to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities
  • Team player and the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Executing a variety of evidence synthesis projects with support and guidance from senior colleagues, including:
  • Pairwise meta-analysis and Bucher indirect treatment comparisons
  • Bayesian network meta-analysis, including non-proportional hazard methods and meta-regression
  • Population-adjusted indirect treatment comparisons, including matching-adjusted indirect comparison, simulated treatment comparison, and multi-level network meta-regression
  • Analysis of surrogate endpoints
  • Supporting data analyses projects, including:
  • Survival analysis, including flexible and innovative methods
  • Analysis of patient-reported outcomes measures from clinical trials (utility analysis)
  • Fitting bespoke statistical models onto clinical trial-level data to aid extrapolation into the future and provide parameter estimates for economic models
  • Identifying and developing statistical methodologies and strategies in partnership with project teams and independently
  • Assisting and developing the production and internal dissemination of statistical code for standard analysis
  • Drafting project reports and other deliverables
  • Adhering to project budgets and timelines
  • Supporting client interactions and outreach to ensure exceptional client satisfaction
  • Responding to requests for proposals as directed
