Description

Capgemini Canada are looking for Intermediate and Senior Product Software Engineers specializing in STERLING FILE GATEWAY for our partner in Consumer Goods.
Location: Mississauga Ontario (3 days a week on site)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway, connect direct and control center
  • Strong understanding of codelist, SFG routing rules
  • Experience with protocols such as SFTP, MQ, HTTP/S, AS2, Connect:Direct
  • Experience with partner onboarding and certificate/key management
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools for Sterling (like IBM Control Center)
  • Solid understanding of file encryption/decryption and secure data transmission
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience in cloud-based deployments of Sterling (AWS, Azure, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exposure to DevOps tools for CI/CD in integration environments
  • Experience with IBM Control Center, Sterling Secure Proxy, or Sterling Connect: Direct
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support solutions using IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and connect direct
  • Configure routing rules, protocols (CD, MQ, API, SFTP etc.), and partner onboarding
  • Troubleshoot file transfer issues and provide timely resolution
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and patching of Sterling environments
  • Collaborate with business units and trading partners to implement file transfer requirements
  • Document processes, technical designs, and system changes
  • Ensure compliance with security and audit standards
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior developers and support teams
