We are currently looking for a Highway Stewards / Senior Highway Steward to assist and manage the delivery of routine operational highways services within Cornwall. We are looking for candidates with an understanding or a sound practical background within highways and/or environmental issues. About the role Successful applicants will be the first point of contact for relevant stakeholders (members of the public, town and parish councils etc.) when contacting Cornwall Council and / or Cormac with regard to highways related issues. To resolve routine problems identifying necessary work, producing works packages, programming and overseeing works to ensure compliance with all working standards, directives and legislation, whilst driving continuous improvement, performance management and efficiency.
