Your new companyAn established Federal Government organisation is seeking a Senior Storage Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team responsible for the management and preservation of large-scale digital information assets. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of complex enterprise storage and backup environments supporting critical national services and long-term digital preservation initiatives.

Your new roleAs a Senior Storage Engineer, you will provide specialist expertise across large-scale storage, backup, recovery, and data preservation environments. Operating within the Technology Operations team, you will support both business-as-usual operations and strategic technology initiatives, helping ensure the availability, integrity, and resilience of critical information assets. You'll take ownership of storage architecture, capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery platforms, storage performance optimisation, hardware lifecycle management, and data preservation systems.

What you'll need to succeedYou will bring strong experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise storage environments. You'll have a solid background across storage architecture, backup and recovery platforms, disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure operations. Experience working with large-scale on-premises storage platforms, data preservation technologies, and vendor management will be highly regarded. A minimum of five years' experience managing enterprise storage environments is essential.
