Job Description Purpose of the Role As a Senior Strategic Buyer, Partfamily Manager, in the material field of drawing parts turning & milling, you are responsible for the location-specific strategy of the part family. They implement the global material field strategy for their part families and are responsible for targets regarding quality, delivery time, costs, as well as digitalization and automation. You will operate as a global team player in interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities As Partfamily Manager, you control the entire purchasing volume for your complex part family at the Terrassa site. They are responsible for the strategy regarding: quality, costs, delivery times and digitalization. In addition, you will participate in large, cross-site procurement projects for your PF assemblies and conduct Terrassa-specific procurement projects (Forecast). They conduct the globally valid framework and multi-year contract negotiations. The generation, implementation, and tracking of site-wide cost reduction measures in the CAT tool As the responsible strategic buyer, you will oversee the Terrassa location. They are the escalation level for problems with delivery dates, costs, or quality. Within the framework of cross-site procurement projects, you are responsible for awarding the manufacturing parts for your material field and implementing appropriate inventory strategies to secure the supply chain. Commercial due diligence: Documentation and maintenance of supplier relationship management as well as prices and contracts in the ERP system. A willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time is a given for you. Support in the development of procurement processes and the overall material field strategy. Qualifications Qualifications & Skills You have a degree in a technical/commercial field, for example in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification. You have several years of professional experience in technical purchasing. You have already conducted negotiations and awarded contracts. You are familiar with economic methods in the field of procurement, such as the Kraljic matrix, SWOT analysis, TCO and shadow calculations. Furthermore, you were able to gain experience in purchasing controlling/cost controlling. You are a team player – especially in interdisciplinary and international teams, you enjoy contributing, taking on responsibility, and helping to solve challenges with intrinsic motivation. Working in an international context with fluent English is a matter of course for you. Additional Information Availability to travel (approximately 20%) when required (HQ in Germany/Switzerland).
