OVERVIEW

Akumin is seeking a detail-driven Senior Strategic Revenue Analyst to support our imaging services revenue cycle. This role will focus on financial analysis, billing system optimization, and data-driven insights to improve reimbursement outcomes across our national footprint. The ideal candidate brings strong technical fluency, healthcare billing experience, and a proactive mindset to drive revenue performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Health Informatics, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare revenue analysis, preferably in imaging or radiology
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (Great Plains preferred)
• Familiarity with Nerad, imaging billing platforms, and payer reimbursement models
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Analyze revenue trends, reimbursement variances, and payer behavior across imaging modalities
• Leverage tools like Microsoft 365, Great Plains, Nerad, and informatics platforms to build dashboards and reports
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and operations teams to identify revenue leakage and recommend process improvements
• Monitor and audit imaging billing systems for accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
• Support month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting activities with detailed revenue insights
• Partner with IT and finance to enhance data integrity and reporting automation
