This is a permanent role with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office), and you will be part of a collaborative, close-knit team
Reporting to the Group Manager Strategic Sourcing, you will be responsible for the Sourcing, commercial, relationship and governance aspects of vendors supplying ICT products and services to the organisation.
You will partner with the IT Leadership Team to provide procurement and supplier management services, drive cost-effective solution improvements, and contribute to projects involving cybersecurity, cloud, and IT managed services.

• Lead procurement teams; manage tender, evaluation and acquisition processes.
• Negotiate with potential partners and suppliers, developing acceptance criteria and procedures.
• Develop strategies to address underperformance and compliance failures, including the application of contract terms.
• Negotiate variations and seek appropriate authorisation.
• Manage suppliers to meet key performance indicators and agreed targets.
• Ensures potential disputes or conflicts are identified early, with clear escalation paths for resolution.
• Provide specialist advice to those accountable for governance to correct compliance issues.
• Negotiate contracts in accordance with Downer policy.
