JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our fast-paced aerospace team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that support key programs and long-term business goals. You will identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are consistently met.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in procurement and supply chain management within the aerospace. You thrive in navigating complex supplier networks, negotiating contracts, and driving sustainable cost reductions while ensuring compliance and performance standards are maintained.
This position’s internal job code is Supplier Program Mgmt. Our team is currently hiring for level 4.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in business or Engineering.
  • 3-5 Years with Leadership Experience
  • Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Program Management
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Method

SUMMARY PAY-RANGE

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  • Level 4: $118,150 - $173,750

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree level education preferred in the fields of Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards, such as AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP and ITAR regulations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, PowerBI, SQL, Cognos
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Prior experience in Aerospac

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic sourcing partnerships with suppliers to ensure the success of our supply chain
  • Collaborate with various departments within the company to understand their sourcing needs and develop sourcing strategies to meet those needs
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement to drive cost savings for the company
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our sourcing processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements, in all sourcing activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and provide support and guidance
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement sourcing initiatives and achieve targeted cost savings
  • Train and mentor junior sourcing team members and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management on sourcing strategies and performance
  • Stay informed about market conditions and changes in supplier pricing, availability, and lead times to inform sourcing decisions
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sourcing processes and increase efficiency
  • Participate in supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards and expectations
  • Represent the company in supplier meetings, conferences, and industry events to build and maintain relationships and stay informed about industry developments
