Responsibilities
  • Guide the articulation and application of Ford’s brand strategy across the enterprise, including:
  • Brand architecture and sub-brand development
  • Extending the brand strategy across regional markets, supporting and influencing strategic direction and campaign development
  • Bringing Ford’s brand to life internally by elevating the employer brand and designing and implementing initiatives that inspire and engage employees
  • Partner with stakeholders across product, design, marketing, and customer experience to align brand expression
  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of brand guidelines and toolkits to ensure strategic clarity and creative excellence.
  • Oversee brand consistency across global teams, initiatives, and customer touchpoints, serving as a central steward of the brand
  • Contribute to naming logic and architecture across Ford’s product and service ecosystem, ensuring that naming decisions reflect our positioning, lifestyle audiences, and long-term vision
  • Partner with the nomenclature team to shape naming principles, advocate for consistency across sub-brands, and provide the strategic rationale needed to gain alignment on more complex or contentious naming decisions
  • Distill research findings and competitive intelligence into actionable brand insights
  • Write briefs, prepare presentations, structure and run workshops alongside the Global Brand Strategy Director
  • Review agency briefing and output, ensuring quality delivery
