Description
As a Senior Strategist, you ensure that European campaigns and platforms do not just reach the local market, they resonate and deliver impact. You act as the bridge between European strategy, the local brand, and execution, translating global thinking into locally relevant communication that works culturally and commercially. With a strong strategic mindset and deep understanding of brand communication, you bring clarity to complexity, align teams and stakeholders, and sharpen ideas beyond simple localization. Your role is to turn strategic intent into communication that is relevant, effective, and culturally meaningful for the local audience.    Primary Job Duties:  * Analyze European strategies, campaigns, and assets and translate them into meaningful local implications for the German market, audiences and channels * Ensure that local activations are not merely translated, but interpreted, refined, and elevated * Act as a strategic sparring partner for Local Client Marketing Team * Translate Local Client´s needs into focused strategic and creative briefings * Evaluate creative work and adaptations against brand fit, strategic consistency, and campaign objectives through clear and actionable feedback * Explain and defend strategic recommendations with confidence and clarity, both internally and externally * Sharpen tasks and briefs and ensure that all stakeholders understand the strategic rationale,the “why” * Identify learnings from campaigns and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and outputs whilst helping to develop effective adaptation models   Your Profile:  * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Marketing, Brand Management, Communication, Psychology / Consumer Behaviour, Media & Communication Studies or a comparable field * 6-10 years of experience in Brand Strategy or Communication Strategy in an international Advertising Agency * Strong strategic thinking and expertise in brand and communication strategy, with a deep understanding of market and business context as well as automotive marketing and complex product communication. * Experience in Global-to-Local campaign adaptation and in working with international stakeholders and regional teams  * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Confidence working with market analyses, consumer insights, and performance data * Pragmatic problem-solving skills, ownership mindset and a solution-oriented attitude * Collaborative approach and ability to work closely with Creative, Account, and Client Teams * Pragmatism and adaptability, especially within fast-moving adaptation setups * Strategic consulting and client-facing roles * Leading workshops, briefing processes and strategic presentations What we offer * Real impact and ownership – You’ll take on a senior-level mandate with the autonomy to shape strategies, influence decisions, and see your ideas translated into tangible results. * A platform for continued growth – We invest in your development through challenging work, exposure to diverse topics, and opportunities to expand both your leadership and functional expertise * Visibility and influence – Work closely with senior stakeholders and leadership, contributing to key business priorities and helping steer the direction of the organization. * A collaborative, high-performing environment – Join a team that values curiosity, open dialogue, and shared success, where your perspective is genuinely heard and respected. * Meaningful work culture – We prioritize trust, flexibility, and sustainable ways of working that enable you to perform at your best—professionally and personally. * All-round covering benefits package – Food vouchers, Gym subsidy, Bicycle-leasing, mental health platforms and other health-focused benefits to provide you with a solid basis to perform well both on and off work.
