Your new role Reporting to the Head of Strategy Initiatives, you’ll work closely with the Manager, Strategy Initiatives to support the delivery of high‑priority work that underpins divisional and portfolio strategy. Drawing on your strengths in strategic analysis and stakeholder engagement, you’ll contribute to insight‑driven decision‑making and the effective delivery of strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: Contributing to the development and execution of divisional and portfolio strategy by applying structured frameworks to analyse challenges, identify opportunities, and develop clear, evidence‑based recommendations Generating strategic insights through internal analysis, external research, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic initiatives Supporting the development of compelling strategic narratives through high‑quality, executive‑ready presentations and materials Building and interpreting financial models and commercial assessments to inform business cases and assess value creation opportunities Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to provide clear visibility of progress against AUSPAC strategic priorities through concise, well-structured synthesis About you You’re an analytically strong, commercially minded professional with experience in strategy, management consulting, or a similar strategy‑focused role. You can move confidently between detail and the bigger picture, simplify complexity, and turn analysis into clear, actionable insights. You deliver high‑quality outputs while navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities, and work constructively with stakeholders across the organisation. You’ll have: Ability to simplify complexity, challenge assumptions, and apply structured, curious problem‑solving Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen, including understanding of key value drivers and the ability to link financial analysis and modelling to strategic outcomes Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to communicate insights and strategic narratives clearly Collaborative and pragmatic approach, with ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive outcomes Experience in strategic analysis (consulting or an in‑house strategy function preferred), with exposure to senior stakeholders Exposure to Insurance and/or financial services, with the ability to apply industry concepts to strategic analysis and decision‑making is advantageous Benefits We offer a range of benefits to help provide holistic support for your work life, whatever your circumstances.
