ABOUT THE ROLE

This role has a “whole of organisation view” and is essential in coordinating Academy strategies and ensuring these are translated into the everyday programs and projects undertaken across all divisions of the Academy. The role works closely with the CEO, Chief Operating Officer and Strategic Advisor to develop and implement stakeholder initiatives, plans and strategy, aligned to Academy strategic priorities, and coordinates engagement with and correspondence between the Office of the CEO and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bring significant experience to develop, manage and coordinate the delivery of strategic initiatives and projects in line with the Academy stakeholder engagement framework
  • Demonstrate a high level of decision-making and initiative, providing advice and developing strategy and plans around stakeholder engagement and activities
  • Demonstrate the ability to improve outcomes for both the Academy and stakeholders
  • Have a strong background in corporate communications at a senior level and understand the need for careful nuance and tone, as well as exceptional attention to detail and quality when writing and creating assets for different audiences and purposes
  • Successfully build relationships with and be a key contact for Academy stakeholders
  • Collaborate across Academy teams to ensure strategic alignment of internal and external stakeholder activities
  • Ensure all stakeholder activities uphold and build the Academy’s reputation across the education sector and support the delivery of its objectives and functions
