Role description: Arcadis is currently looking for a Senior Strategy & Transformation Management Consultant to join our growing and dynamic Business Advisory team. In this role, you will strengthen people's connections to the Water sector within the Water Resilience Practice. You will manage projects and teams to advise water utilities how to strategically plan for the future, develop their workforce, effectively manage people through change, and optimize their business processes. In this position you will need a strong intellect, the ability to articulate complex ideas persuasively and a talent for establishing and solidifying relationships with external stakeholders. You will work with stakeholders to address some of their biggest challenges including attracting and retaining talent within the Water sector, succession planning and increasing diversity, equity, & inclusion, digital transformation, and effective, engaging, and dynamic planning. You will build trusted relationships with senior utility leaders that enable effective coaching and influencing of people and culture related outcomes. Role accountabilities: As a Senior Strategy and Transformation Management Consultant, you will lead strategic initiatives that support client transformation through project management and visionary expertise in areas such as strategic planning, change management, organizational assessments, innovation, and workforce development. You'll oversee teams and client engagements, mentor junior staff, and drive performance improvement strategies for public sector organizations. Responsibilities include designing and implementing change strategies, analyzing data to inform organizational improvements, optimizing processes, and developing workforce plans. You'll collaborate with national leadership on thought leadership, pursue new business opportunities, and ensure exceptional stakeholder experiences. Strong communication, relationship-building, and team leadership skills are essential to succeed in this high-impact role. Key Skills and Attributes: The Senior Strategy and Transformation Management Consultant will bring a broad understanding of the water industry and a strong ability to deliver strategic, data-driven recommendations to senior leaders. With experience leading cross-functional teams, the Senior Strategy and Transformation Management Consultant will need to have successfully built scalable operational capabilities and driven measurable results. The candidate will need to excel at influencing diverse stakeholders without direct authority and demonstrate excellent business judgment, project management skills, and have a solid grasp of people analytics. The Senior Strategy & Transformation Management Consultant will need to have an innovative mindset, collaborative approach, and comfort with ambiguity enabling them to solve complex problems effectively. Additionally, this candidate will need to be a clear and concise communicator, adept at tailoring messages to various audiences. Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration). 10 years of professional experience with a demonstrated track record of strategic leadership, operations, and project management. 5 years of people management experience. 5 years of experience working with senior executives, in a consulting role, and driving strategic outcomes.
