MINIMUM EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration or equivalent.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Five (5) years work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement, or market/competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

About the Role - This role will oversee all Data & Technology hiring requests, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and a strategic, consultative approach. This role will partner closely with frontline managers to deliver actionable insights and guidance, and collaborate seamlessly with Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and the Chief of Staff teams across D&T. A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to resolve stakeholder concerns swiftly and professionally are essential.
Successful candidates will excel at navigating ambiguity and driving concepts through execution, leveraging diverse data sources to develop strategic recommendations, and managing large-scale initiatives. They must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with senior leaders and collaborate across functions within and beyond the D&T organization, including Finance, Human Resources, Communications, Legal, and other FedEx enterprise teams. Project & Process Management

  • Lead project planning - define scope, develop timelines, allocate resources, and track milestones.
  • Simplify and streamline processes to improve efficiency and eliminate redundant steps.
  • Guide stakeholders and “clients” through each phase of the process and provide hands-on support when they encounter roadblocks.
  • Maintain comprehensive project and process documentation, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.

Critical & Strategic Thinking

  • Challenge underlying assumptions, explore alternative hypotheses, and map potential downstream impacts.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that guide executive decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
  • Coordinate communications with alliance partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations to senior leaders, using strong storytelling and visualization skills.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process gaps and implement enhancements to further streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adapting quickly to evolving business needs.
