JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Structural Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and visually elevated display structures that effectively showcase our creativity and capabilities for a variety of accounts. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in structural design, specifically within the display design industry. Managing and/or mentoring experience is necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Develop creative and practical structural design concepts for displays, ensuring they align with the brand’s image and marketing objectives.
  • Lead, manage, develop and mentor a growing team of Structural & 3D Designers to help produce best-in-class ideas and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, project management, product development, and manufacturing, to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet customer expectations.
  • Represent the structural design service and company through collaborative account-facing interactions, on-site and virtually.
  • Conduct thorough research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in display design, incorporating relevant elements into projects.
  • Utilize design software (ArtiosCAD) and tools to create detailed 2D and 3D renderings, prototypes, and mock-ups of display structures for client presentations and internal review.
  • Generate comprehensive technical specifications and assembly instructions for manufacturing and assembly teams, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and material assessments to determine the most suitable materials and construction techniques for each display project.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source materials and components, ensuring quality standards are met within budgetary constraints.
  • Work closely with the production team to oversee the manufacturing process, providing guidance and support to ensure the accurate execution and construction of design specifications.
  • Perform regular quality control checks on display prototypes and finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and functional requirements.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including design files, sketches, specifications, and relevant correspondence.
