POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Structural Draftsman will be responsible for producing detailed structural drawings and plans for buildings, infrastructure, and other civil engineering projects. This role requires advanced technical drafting skills, a deep understanding of structural design principles, and the ability to coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet technical specifications, codes, and client requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have own visa (Employment visa with NOC or family sponsored visa)
• Must have UAE experience
• Fluent in English
• Previous AutoCAD experience is required

• Prepare and develop detailed structural drawings, 2D and 3D models, and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations to create accurate and compliant drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and other disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and as-built documentation.
• Review and check drawings prepared by junior draftsmen for accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and project managers to clarify technical details.
• Stay updated with the latest drafting techniques, software updates, and industry best practices.
