Due to a healthy pipeline of work, our Buildings & Places group are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team, based in Sydney. You will be given the opportunity to work closely with a team of specialists to develop your structural engineering knowledge and design skills on a range of local, regional and inter-state projects. Job Description Lead and oversee structural design and project delivery, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, Building Codes of Australia (BCA), and client requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, sustainable structural solutions. Perform structural analysis, prepare design reports, and oversee engineering documentation and drawings. Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and client/stakeholder engagement to ensure successful outcomes. Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence through best practices and industry innovation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering (essential). Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on building structures. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, including SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit (essential). Experience with SAP2000, RAM, Ideastatica, and Grasshopper (advantageous).
