Job Description We are currently recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer for in-house structural design of a wide variety of projects, including, but not limited to, bridges and viaducts; earth retaining structures, underground structures; culverts and building structures, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team. It can be a great opportunity for a CAD Technician that wants to boost his/her professional career on structural drafting. Responsibilities: Participate in projects and lead, motivate, and manage project teams of structural engineers and draftsmen. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, external partners (such as architects and other design disciplines), and clients. Maintain an international mindset and cooperate with our offices abroad on specific engineering tasks, ensuring the required project quality. Respond effectively to client needs and requests. Develop sustainable and efficient engineering solutions. Ensure that budgets, schedules, and quality standards for engineering work are met, and that assigned projects comply with the company’s quality management system. Report project progress on a weekly basis. Promote an integrated design process by considering interactions between different disciplines involved in the project. Stay up to date with applicable standards, guidelines, new techniques, and developments in the field, and share relevant knowledge with your team and colleagues. Qualifications Requirements: You are a qualified Structural Engineer holding at least a Master’s degree. You have 8–10 years of relevant technical experience in structural engineering projects, including the analysis and design of various types of concrete and steel structures. Experience on projects outside Romania is preferred; experience with projects in the US and Australia is an advantage. You have been involved in all project phases, including tendering, calculations, design, execution, and management. You possess strong communication skills. You have a high level of proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking). You have strong expertise in structural analysis and design software; experience with STAAD Pro is a plus.
